As someone who values comfort and charm when traveling, the Great Escape was a pleasant surprise. the family-run accommodation provided a warm welcome and easy access to the stunning High Weald Area of Natural Beauty. the simple rooms were cozy and clean, featuring everything needed for a comfortable stay, including a TV, heating, and en suite bathroom. the onsite pub, the Oak, served delicious home-cooked meals and was the perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring. I especially enjoyed the peaceful surroundings, perfect for quiet country walks and relaxation. With the village of Peasmarsh a short walk away and Rye, its railway station, and beautiful beaches within a 10-minute drive, the location was ideal for exploring the area. Overall, the Great Escape offered a delightful escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life, with pet amenities available for those traveling with furry friends. Highly recommend for a peaceful and charming getaway.
